NTU Foreign Student Association

Introduction

As the sole representing and responsible body for and by the foreign students of the National Taiwan University (NTU), the National Taiwan University Foreign Student Association (NTUFSA) represents all foreign students (excluding those with overseas Chinese students status) studying at NTU. Since its establishment in 2001, it has been given the responsibility for the complete welfare needs of the foreign students.

The NTUFSA aims to create the best environment for study and promote stable and pro-active relations between students and staffs. NTUFSA is a common platform where all students can cooperate and through mutual understanding enhance experiences at NTU as well as in Taiwan. This association was progressively evolved under the leadership of Lee Zuan (Singapore), Julie Yamada (Japan), Dr. Krishna Kaphle (Nepal) and most recently Hari K. Shrestha from Nepal. Representing members from 50 different countries is very interesting and challenging work. NTUFSA highlights problems faced by its members and help finds solutions and ways to implement them with the help of Centre for International Academic Exchanges.

All students enrolled at NTU are eligible for NTUFSA membership and can enjoy the same rights. We especially advocate freedom of speech for all members; registered members have the right to vote and to be elected as executive board member.
